unm BLESS THE GRANDCHILDREN OF WHOMEVER MADE THIS
This is great! Kind of sums up Avatar perfectly. Forgiveness and compassion are powerful things.* forgiveness that is preceded by actual-fact apologies. I think the ways in which the characters figure out what they did wrong and actually atone are key here.
Okay but imagine:
- Peter Parker going to a fan convention as Spiderman
- Peter Parker getting compliments on his Spiderman costume
- Peter Parker entering a Spiderman Costume Contest
- Peter Parker losing said contest
- Peter Parker losing the contest to Deadpool
When the first Lord of the Rings movie came out, my friends and I went to see it, and they know that I am Cecil Baldwin III and my dad and my grandfather are Cecils as well, (…) so they’ve started calling me “Cecil, son of Cecil, Heir to the Baldwin Throne”.
night vale is full of thought provoking humour and beautifully inspirational monologues but “subway? more like wowza” will always be one of the best things it’s ever come up with
it’s right at the top of the list with “what’s an egg” and “i never knew school cleaning appliances were so strong”
"Mountains? More like nothings"
"Nice try, giant worms.”
"And I was like, whatever, rich guy!”
some muggleborn like “i want to be an astronaut when i grow up!”
wizard kids like “wtf is an astronaut”
"oh you know…the people who go to the moon"
of course you can’t just go to the moon you need a rocketship
